I was pulled down a rabbit hole on this idea. I think it’s funny that the word Horticulture doesn’t give you a lot of clues as to what the word actually means (I don’t speak Latin). Like, a snake scientist is called a herpetologist. This joke wouldn’t work in stand up comedy. I know this from experience. I bombed hard at that open mic night (let’s be honest– early afternoon) in that retirement home in Toronto.
